My story

Working as an Internist, the best part of my job has always been developing meaningful relationships with my patients.  Over the years, however, I grew frustrated with the increasing use of pharmaceuticals to manage conditions that can be treated with lifestyle.  It was time for a change.

Since prevention of disease has long been a passion of mine, I decided to forge a new path in Lifestyle Medicine.  I'm really excited about this new approach to promoting health through our own behaviors instead of reacting to disease with costly medications and procedures.  Collaborating with patients and empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need, my goal is to support my patients as they become the healthiest versions of themselves.

As of January 2024, I am excited to be working with Strata Integrated Wellness where I will be seeing patients for Lifestyle Medicine consultations as well as teaching in-person stress management classes and developing a Teaching Kitchen.  Culinary Medicine blends the art of cooking with the science of medicine and a Teaching Kitchen provides a fun and inviting atmosphere to learn how to make delicious and nourishing dishes that can improve your health while bringing joy to your meals!
